  • Alasdair Hobbs Headshot

    Alasdair Hobbs

    Managing Director

    Qualifications: 30 plus years PQE as a Practicing Solicitor specialising in Employment Law, Post-Graduate Diploma in European Management and European Law.

    Role Overview: I provide HR services, including employee relations support, management training and development, employment policy documents, and contracts of employment. I also assist with start-ups, directors' service agreements, pre-dismissal advice, and redundancy support.

    My expertise extends to workforce restructuring, equal opportunities guidance, mediation, dispute resolution, and disciplinary and grievance investigations. I work closely with businesses to ensure compliance, improve workplace relations, and create positive, productive environments.

    Personal Interests: Golf, badminton, pickleball, travelling.

    Jo Cope

    HR Support Manager 

    Qualifications: Associate of CIPD. ILEX Level 3 Professional Qualification in Law and Practice.

    Role Overview: I manage clients’ end-to-end recruitment processes, ensuring a smooth and efficient hiring experience. I address employee queries and concerns, mediate conflicts, and create a positive work environment.

    I ensure compliance with employment law and regulations while keeping employee records up to date. I develop and implement performance management systems, conduct performance reviews, and provide constructive feedback.

    I also identify training needs, organise training sessions, and support employee development initiatives. Additionally, I develop, update, and enforce HR policies and procedures to maintain best practices.

    Finally, I manage our Iguana HR Portal, ensuring efficient HR operations.

    Personal Interests: Travelling, reading and spending time with family.

    Danielle Wainwright

    Office Manager

    Qualifications: Level 3 NVQ in Business Administration. 10 years of vocational legal training and development.

    Role Overview: As an office manager, I am responsible for a wide range of tasks that keep the office running smoothly. My responsibilities include drafting staff handbooks, employment contracts and general HR letters, as well as managing office filling and administration. 

    I handle phone duties, invoicing and account management to help keep the systems well maintained and up to date.

    To support clients I manage retainers' renewals and provide PA support as needed. 

    Personal Interests: Reading, running, swimming, cooking & baking, being out in nature, spending time with my family and dogs.

    Susan Husband

    Accounts and Customer Service Officer

    Qualifications: 5 O Levels English Language, Mathematics, Geography, Religious Education and Biology.

    Role Overview: I manage financial tasks like processing invoices, handling payments, costing out files, and keeping records accurate and up-to-date. I also support clients by answering their questions, work to build strong relationships between the client and company, and making sure they have the information they need when working with us. I very much enjoy networking for Human Results.

    Personal Interests: Shropshire and National volunteer and fundraiser for the Motor Neurone Association. Entertaining, walking, cooking and spending time with the family and our Labrador.

    Business Services Administrator

    Qualifications: Apprenticeship – Customer Service level 2. Three A-level qualifications in History, English Literature and Language, and Dramatic Theatre Studies.

    Role Overview: I work within the team to support businesses with their HR and employment law needs. My role involves providing practical support, such as drafting handbooks, contracts, and letters, as well as assisting with office administration such as handling client calls, booking appointments, and organising files.

    Personal Interests: Reading, creative writing, mixed media embroidery and botany.
